When you meet enthusiastic people and exchange contact details, make sure that you are the first to follow up. It is absolutely staggering how many people rely on social media to communicate or go to networking meetings and never actually make a phone call.

4. MAKE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION WORK FOR YOU
You are probably aware of the principle of “sowing and reaping”. You may even know a bit about quantum science “like energy attracts like energy” and perhaps you are even familiar with the Law of Attraction.

Maybe you’re in transition between jobs, careers or relationships, or perhaps you are at a crossroads in life and desire change. This is an opportunity to think about your true desires and goals, a chance to sit with yourself and discover what you really want most in life. Perhaps that’s an abundance of money, helpful friends, a new partner, a successful business, or the chance to travel, more family time etc. There are a lot of reasons to learn how to use the Law of Attraction in your life and start getting “less of what you don’t want and MORE of what you DO want”.

5. KEEP LEARNING, READ INTERESTING BOOKS AND WATCH INSPIRING VIDEOS ONLINE
There is such a wealth of information at our fingertips on how to effectively change our lives and build confidence to reach a new goal. Biographies, TED talks and YouTube are excellent sources.

Turn your car into a mobile university and educate yourself while you drive.

6. BUILD GOOD LIKE-MINDED CONTACTS
Make a conscious effort to meet new “positive like-minded people” through friends, colleagues, work and events, especially if they can offer advice or a service for your new plans. If there is someone outside your circle you would love to question about their work or life, be brave and ask them for a coffee. if they are serious (and don’t just want a load of invisible friends to boost their ego) you will be surprised at how many people will say yes and prove helpful!

7. LEARN A NEW SKILL NOT RELATED TO YOUR CORE ACTIVITY
You can never have enough skills in life. By choosing to learn something out with your comfort zone, you will increase your expertise, confidence and marketability.

8. GO TO INSPIRATIONAL EVENTS
Events such as talks, networking nights and creative sessions are often inspiring and fuel your imagination. They can generate ideas you might not have considered. If you can, go alone and you’ll be more likely to make an effort to chat to someone new who may help you on your journey.

9. TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
Remember, without change everything remains the same and nothing grows. If you want things to change for you – then you have to take the right steps to change and add value to the marketplace.

Positive progress is about changing old habits and taking small significant slight edge actions, which when done over a period of time are compounded to produce profound changes.

So, ask yourself the question….what am I going to do next to change the paradigm and start getting the results you want?
